Microwaves
We are happy to diagnose and repair your microwave oven. However, a diagnostic service call, the cost of parts and shipping, and the labour to install said parts often brings the cost of repair above the cost of a new unit. We recommend researching your unit's value before enlisting our services.
Wall Ovens & Installed Microwaves
Wall ovens and other elevated appliances often require two technicians due to their weight and the difficulties presented in uninstalling them for diagnostic purposes. If needed, two-person calls are $200/hour.
Gas Fireplaces
These are one of the more complex appliance types we work on and it is rare that a unit uses standardised or generic parts. This means we often need to order parts, which means a same-day repair is highly unlikely. Diagnostic calls are almost certain to run significantly more than a standard 1 hour service call due to the fact that fireplaces need to be completely disassembled to diagnose (and then reassembled, and then repeated when parts arrive) and because of this, repairs tend to be both time-consuming and expensive.
Furnaces
We are happy to repair and service furnaces, and we are licensed to do so. However, we are not HVAC contractors and as such cannot install new units or run ducting. Please contact a licensed HVAC contractor.
Stacked Units
Stacked units (washer/dryer combos) and 'laundry centers' require two technicians due to their size. Service calls with two technicians are $200/hour.
Refrigerators (closed-system)
Most often, we are able to repair refrigerators. However, if the issue is in the closed-system (aka refrigerant), we are not licensed to repair/refresh that. We can diagnose it as such, but must then refer you to a specialist. These are hard to locate and most of our clients find that taking the unit to Santa Rosa yields the fastest repair.
